PAULIG COFFEE
This is some pitch material that I did for a mural installation piece for the entrance lobby of the new Paulig building. The content of the video is a painterly coffee plantation with drips of water falling down the lens and changing light as the day becomes night. The idea is that the video would be projected on a pane of glass via hidden projectors behind the front desk clerk over the course of the work day. The glass is of a special type, and through timed electrical controls, its transparency changes gradually from foggy to clear. Hence the video is only visible when the glass is foggy. Behind the glass is the Paulig coffee roasting machine facility which is visible when the glass is clear. The actual image and video dimensions are an astounding 5000 X 747 pixels (1.3 X 0.19 meters).
